[bug-gsl] Re: configure error: cannot run test program while cross compiling (2008-09-24)
Hello, When digging into the results ourselves, we figured out that there was only one of the three platforms that failed. Namely when cross-compiling for the i686 platform. And particularly when talking about testing the fpu. We modified the configure.ac file to skip this particular test, in this particular situation and ran autoconf again. Subject: Fixed a check for fpu with sse when cross compiling From: Bart De Vos <bart.devos@......> When cross compiling gsl the configure scripts stops because it can not run the sse test if you're cross compiling for the i686 target. This patch just skips this test, in that particular situation.
